deep tissue massage. A type of massage in which the fingers, thumbs and elbows are used to release chronic muscle tension, using slow, deep strokes and friction; the therapist may work perpendicularly to the length of the fibres of the superficial muscles, with the intent of massaging muscle that lies underneath.

Neck & Shoulder Massage

Applying pressure on the soft tissue around your neck, shoulders and back reduces muscular tension and ease day-to-day stress. These parts are constantly holding up our body, so it’s no wonder why they feel tense! Here are some key benefits to getting neck and shoulder massages that aren’t just to do with relaxation.

Relaxation Massage

A relaxation massage – or relaxing or relax massage – is a style of massage which promotes a relaxed state in the client through a series of gentle movements and at times, the use of essential oils.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a therapy used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to remove stagnation and stimulate the flow of qi (chi). Qi is the free flow of vital energy circulating through the body and the world around us, if the qi is disrupted or disturbed, it can create stagnation (blockages) or imbalances in the body. eo.

Foot Reflexology
Foot reflexology is an alternative therapy that enhances the distinctive healing mechanisms of the body. It involves pressure to specific reflex points on the feet using certain hand, finger, or thumb techniques.

Trigger Point Therapy

This can help improve circulation and normal movement of your muscles. Trigger point therapy is performed by having your PT press and hold on top of the trigger points in your muscles. This temporarily cuts off circulation to the tissue. This cutting off of circulation increases a chemical called nitric oxide in the tissue.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

The Lymphatic drainage massage is a form of gentle massage that moves lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Some health conditions can cause lymph fluid to build up.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a therapeutic technique primarily aimed at athletes and active individuals to enhance performance, aid recovery, and prevent injuries. Unlike relaxation massage, which focuses on calming and soothing muscles, sports massage targets specific muscle groups and soft tissues to address issues related to athletic activity.
